Bathymetric ENCs in SeeMyENC

Whilst regular ENCs comply with the relevant standards for ENC production and quality control, the bathymetry is normally only low resolution data. Therefore, SevenCs have created the concept of a bathymetric ENC (bENC); an S-57 data product that can be created using SevenCs tools from common formats of digital bathymetry and then displayed either on its own or in conjunction with a normal ENC for applications, such as dredging and piloting, that demand high resolution data.

A bENC example is included in your SeeMyENC version. You'll find it in the directory /data/examples.
