Built on SevenCs market leading EC2007 ECDIS Kernel, ORCA™ Master is the electronic chart system (ECS) of choice for professional navigation applications where it is necessary to display specialised data, such as high density bathymetric layers, in conjunction with standard digital navigation charts and publications.

Typical Applications

ORCA™ Master is typically used for portable pilot units (PPUs) or survey and dredging applications where a type-approved ECDIS is not flexible enough to display the specialised data required.

ORCA Master Features:

  • GPS and DGPS receiver or other position sensor interfaces (NMEA 0183V2.0)
  • AIS NMEA (IEC 61993-2) transponder and R3 AIS (GP&C) transponder interfaces
  • Display of ARPA and AIS targets
  • World Magnetic Model (WMM2000) for calculation of magnetic declination
  • SevenCs type-approved ECDIS symbology
  • Uses official ENCs (S-57 and S-63) and authorised Raster Charts (ARCS)
  • Can import private chart data in SevenCs directENC SENC format
  • Automatic loading of ENCs depending on display centre position and display scale
  • Checking and applying vector and raster chart updates
