Viewing, analyzing and managing S-57 and S-100 data products and their referenced Support Files Manage
The S-100 Data Management System (SDMS) is designed to help organizations manage their S-57/ S-100 datasets more efficiently and comply with the dependencies that the standards define. You can apply predefined workflows to keep the process of ENC quality assurance as consistent with the standards’ requirements as possible.
The scalability of the SDMS is achieved by its modular architecture; modularity makes easy upgrades to greater functionality possible in the near future. The respective functional modules will be extended step-by-step, to cover other tasks beyond chart data validation (see below).
The system is comprised of a Core Module that controls the individual processes, takes care of the user rights management, and steers the workflows.
Additional functional modules take over the individual tasks; the tasks include validation, visualization, and data import in the current version; data conversion and data encryption will follow in the next version of SDMS. These modules can be added to the Core Module separately; so, if your organisation needs to do so, it will be able to extend the functionality at any time.
