At the beginning of February 2018 the SevenCs charting experts were invited to conduct an ENC production training in Hong Kong. This was already the third series of such courses planned by the Hong Kong Hydrographic Office. And there are more to come later this year.
Since S-100 matters are strongly discussed nowadays the introduction of the SevenCs new
S-100 Validator was an eye-opener for the class and triggered many positive insights. Overall the following topics were covered during this educational week:
- IHO standards (including S-100)
- ENC data production & validation (including S-101)
- Future benefits of SevenCs software updates
